Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

This is so good, you'll certainly want to include it in your regular family meal rotation. And serve it to company for raves. This serves 2, so increase as needed.

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
4 ounces cooked linguine
2 teaspoons cajun seasoning (more or less to taste; this amount yields a fairly mild heat)
2 tablespoons butter
1 thinly sliced green onion
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Place chicken and Cajun seasoning in a bowl and toss to coat.

In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken in butter or margarine until chicken is tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.

Heat cream to just below boiling.

Toss the cooked chicken, seasonings, linguine, and cream to coat the pasta. Top with the parmesan cheese.
