Question by Jessica S: Can you saute a steak and have it come out as well as if you’d grilled it?
I would like to cook some steaks but right now, I don’t have a grill or even a grill pan. What kind of steak would you recommend to saute? Cook time, etc? Thanks!

Question by *born with curiosity*: What temperature to broil a very thin steak?
I’ve never broiled anything before – I have two very thin (less than half an inch) tenderized steaks. The broil setting on the oven is past 500 degrees and that seems like a bit much. Also how long do I need to preheat the broiling pan for?

Answer by Jean S
no need to preheat broiling pan, maybe a minute to a minute and a half each side.
